Core Values...
Faith: Faith in God for all things, and faith that God
is working through us and other people, which means that we trust others and how God is working in their lives.

Service: Serving God and others in the humility and the grace of Jesus Christ. In the same way He served us, we serve Him by giving our lives in service to others.

Mercy: Treating other people in the same way we want to be treated. As God has had mercy on us, we in the same spirit extend a merciful heart toward others in His name.

Doctrinal Statement:

Lashbrook Family Ministries, in all it's parts, seeks to serve our God and Father through relationships, both vertical with Father, and horizontal, with others He brings our way. We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments to be the absolute truth and the inspired Word of God; and that it reveals God as three persons: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; and that man in his natural state is a sinner, lost and without hope. We believe Jesus to be God come in the flesh, both divine and human, and that He came to earth to be the substitutionary sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins of all persons who choose to accept it, to restore fellowship and relationship with God the Father . We believe in the saving power of the Blood of Jesus and His imputed righteousness, His bodily resurrection after His crucifixion and in the future bodily return of Jesus to earth to rapture his Church and judge the world. We believe the Holy Spirit to be the Third Person of the Trinity whose purpose in the redemption of man is to convict men of sin, regenerate the repentant believer, guide the believer into all truth, to indwell and empower and give gifts to believers as He wills, that they may minister as Christ would to men. We believe the manifestations of the Holy Spirit recorded in the New Testament shall operate in present-day churches which yield to the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in Divine Healing and the Priesthood of Believers. We believe it is the responsibility of all God's people to use all His provided resources carefully and with integrity and to serve each other with love and respect as Christ exampled.

Our History

Founded in 1997, Lashbrook Family Ministry began when God gave Keith and Cindy Lashbrook a vision to reach out to the orphaned children of Haiti. Along with their two children, Tiffany and Daniel, (11 and 8 years old at the time) they moved their family to Port-de-Paix Haiti. After working with two other missions caring for children, in 2001, they took in their first orphan, Jameson and In the Father’s Hand Children’s Home began. In a country where 1 out of every 2 children are raised without ever knowing their father, the Lashbrook’s desire was to love these children like their own and raise them to be Godly fathers themselves.

1n 2000 Keith started a church in their home, that later he fully handed over to Pastor Andy and his wife Emmanuella and Haitian leadership. After they began to take in more babies the adoption home or “the crèche” officially began in 2004 and they began to place these precious children in loving homes in the states. As an outreach of the church, Grace Christian School began in 2002, as a free school for the children who couldn’t otherwise afford to attend school in the community.

The past 12 years have not always been easy for the Lashbrooks. They have endured persecution, six armed robberies, over $45,000 of damage, abuse, unjust law suites and being forced to flee from their home and family in Haiti on a sinking fishing boat to save their lives. Keith has also endured a series of life threatening illnesses including three cases of malaria with the last one being Cerebral Malaria that attacked his brain.

Through it all, their love for the Haitian people has only increased. Even now they are committed more than ever to love these people as they do their own family because to them they are one family.
