Dear Friends and Family,
I hope and pray that you are well. The purpose of this letter is to inform you on what God is doing in my life, and where He is taking me. As you may or may not know, I have been serving alongside my parents, in Haiti, for the last twelve years. Working with the boys in our children's home, the children in our adoption home, our school, and other projects on the way. All of this has been a God filled experience for me , and i have loved every second of it. But now it is time for me to fulfill the call that God has put on my heart.
When I was eight years old I attended a revival service at what was our home church at the time, in Martinsville, Indiana. I don't remember what the evangelist spoke about that night, but after the message was finished, the evangelist said that he wanted to pray for the next generation of Christian men and women. I went up, got prayed for, and spent the next hour in the presence of God. By the time I left that church that night I knew what I was supposed to do, evangelize Jamaica. Today the call that I received almost twelve years ago is still burning in my heart. I went to Jamaica in 2006 with my father for a short, four day trip. We stayed at a children's home, in the Blue Mountains, overlooking Kingston, Jamaica, called The City of Refuge. While I was there, everyday was more of a confirmation than the last. Now I am going back into Jamaica, this March of 2009. This trip will be a little under two months, in which time, I am going to work on learning the language, learning about the culture, and most importantly advancing the Kingdom of God.
I am in Haiti right now, but I will be in the United States for the month of February. While I am in the States I am hoping to find churches to speak at, in order to meet people and raise support. If you feel in your heart that you would like to be apart of what God is going to do in Jamaica, then please do so, whether by prayer or financial support. I believe with all my heart that when God says, "Go, and I will make a way." He means it. Please pray for me as I step out in faith, that God will give me the strength and wisdom to do His will, and pray for Jamaica, that God would open the hearts of the people to accept His words and His love. I pray that God would Bless and Guide you each day as He wills.
"He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of Salvation and Wisdom and Knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure."
Isaiah 33: 6
By His Grace,
